In 1995 a car was purchased to begin our entry into the ground transportation industry began. Founding a company rooted in customer centric service, a passion to be an industry leader began to evolve.
Our family grew, as did the business. Nancy took time to focus on things at home, and Mike focused on the customers and creating professional partners
The tragedy of 9/11 hit our local NY community very hard. The transportation industry changed significantly, as did the economy. For NY based operators that remained, the introduction of shared ride technology was also on it's way.
2016 was a year of major evolution for our company. Nancy stepped out of the background to enter the role of CEO. Mike could focus on expanding the private bus fleet and our global operations as COO. DH2 fortified our reputation in the community and industry by accomplishing a series programs and certifications. DH2 became an M/WBE Certified Business and expanded the fleet with new vans and buses.
DH2 Chauffeured Transportation is certified as a Minority/Women-owned Business Enterprise (M/WBE) in the City of New York and the State of New York's Minority and Women-owned Business Enterprise Certification Program. Our company is listed in the New York City Directory of Certified Businesses so we can be available to government buyers and prime contractors who require a professional ground transporation provider

A native New Yorker with an initial corporate background, Nancy's entrepreneurial spirit took her talents and skills to build the infrastructure of DH2. For 14 years, she has satisfied various roles at DH2 from operations, customer service, reservationist, dispatcher and human resources. Once the infrasture was in place, Vargas took the initiative of a leading role and in 2016 became CEO of DH2. She immediately conceived and executed a new strategy, investing heavily in forging meaningful partnerships . As a woman in a traditionally male-dominated industry, Vargas dedicates her time to Motivate, Inspire and Empower other Women in Business. She is a proud member of The New York Women’s Chamber of Commerce. Through her leadership, DH2 Chauffeured Transportation became MWBE Certified with the city and state of New York and most recently became MWBE Certified with The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. She has expanded the business into new market segments such as government contracting, DMC's, airline shuttle service and worldwide reservations. She has implemented the most innovative technology to provide utmost efficiency. Nancy also has been an early adopter of social media, from Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn, stimulating communications with partners and clients all over the globe.
As a small business leader, Nancy is an active community member via The Queens Chamber of Commerce, and The JFK Chamber of Commerce . She is a member of the National Limousine Association, The Limousine Association of New Jersey, The Central Florida Livery Association. She serves as a Board Member for The Long Island Transportation Association and The Limousine Association of New York, and is the Vice President of the JFK Rotary Club.

All DH2 chauffeurs receive additional training with the PAX program to provide our passengers thee most professional experience possible. This third party process curates the best practices anytime one of our vehicles is on the road.
DH2 chauffeurs are either CDL or NYC TLC licensed. They are the best in the business of client focused service, to ensure the DH2 experience leads to customer satisfaction. Our chauffeurs know the roads and routes of the trip-state area, and are able to navigate the safest and most efficient options for a timely arrival.
Safety and Compliance
We use a 3rd party compliance company to ensure we are aligned with all USDOT and NYS DOT standards. We exceed insurance coverage thresholds. We perform random drug testing, access Driver Qualification Files, and hold recurring CDL training for using our buses.
Duty of Care
Our chauffeurs are well rested, PAX trained, log books are monitored, and our technology offers real time tracking. DH2 has disaster recovery in place for multi platform dispatch to chauffeur communications

Mike has extensive experience as a tenured leader in operations. As a subject matter expert in ground transportation, he shares his advanced skill set on tri-state regulations, routes, and compliance to keep DH2 as an industry leading service provider.
Under his direction, DH2 Chauffeured Transportation utilizes GPS in all vehicles to provide for multi tier tracking. He manages state of the art software for dispatching, which includes text and/or email to all passengers on the status of their chauffeur’s location. He integrates Flight View software to monitor airline flights and has an Online 3 Step Booking System. Mike hand picked a staff of professional talent to maintain an actively serviced fleet, readily available call center, and service oriented staff of travel specialists.
